Aftab Shivdasani, recently who has been accused of "doing drugs" at Pune nightclub Fire 'n' Ice, later getting into a brawl, and making a lewd gestures at female guest, said the charges made by the club management are all ludicrous.
He insists he is innocent: "I don't even smoke since I am asthmatic." Conceding he was in the pub on that day, he says it was simply to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was there with my family and friends. We had a nice time and left that place without any incident. Some fans approached me for autographs and pictures and I obliged. I don't know why stories are being concocted and my name being dragged into it. My upbringing doesn't allow me to indulge in either drugs or misbehaviors." As for as the issue of taking Ritesh Deshmukh's help is concerned Aftab reveals, "I am friendly with all my co-stars and that's case with Ritesh too. Why should I use anyone like this?"
