Photographs of actress Kareena Kapoor kissing her boyfriend Shahid Kapoor in public created a huge stir in Mumbai.
A tabloid - Mid Day published the photograph yesterday and claimed the kissing scenes were clicked at a party in a restaurant, 'Rain' recently.
However, Kareena and Shahid both have separately denied the photographs and said they could not have done this.
But the tabloid carried the alleged pictures maintains these pictures are original.

Upset Kareena has slapped a legal notice on the tabloid demanding an unconditional apology. Otherwise, she wants to sue them for defamation to the tune of Rs. 20 crore.

The granddaughter of Raj Kapoor was looking apparently shocked. "The pictures are false and baseless and not ours. I can never do such a thing in a restaurant, " the actress said.
Kareena said, the pictured is totally morphed and on the day, Mid Day claims to have shot the scene in 'Rain', she was in Chennai.

Shahid Kapoor, who is currently in Egypt, said that they had never kissed Kareena in the restaurant or anywhere else in real life.
And the thing he pointed out that for last three months they have not gone to the restaurant. Last they had gone on September 21 that was happened to be Kareena's birthday. "On that day, there were several persons in that restaurant and we could not have done this", Shahid said.
Shahid also sent a legal notice. "I am shocked and upset over such photographs and also because the newspaper did not approach us for any clarification," Shahid fumes.

However, Big B stands by the newspaper, and said that there is nothing wrong in publishing such photograph if it is original. Another Bollywood leading lady Isha Koppikar said people have no interest about this.

The editor of Mid Day Aakar Patel, however, told a television channel that his newspaper would fight the legal battle. Standing by the newspaper's claim, Mr. Patel said that they were indeed Shahid and Kareena.
